Community Living Services
Community Living Services of Oakland County (CLS/OC) is a non-profit organization that promotes community inclusion, full citizenship and a self-determined life for people with developmental disabilities. They are strongly focused on person-centered planning, meaning they help plan for your future with people important to you.

Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) helps Michigan residents with disabilities achieve employment and self-sufficiency. MRS is part of a network of vocational rehabilitation programs across the U.S. authorized by the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. Each year, more than 7,000 Michigan residents with disabilities are assisted into jobs through MRS services.

Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) leads a provider service network that assists approximately 23,000 Oakland County citizens at more than 300 service sites across the county. OCHN also manages a $300 million budget funded in part by the Michigan Department of Health Human Services, General Fund, grants, and Oakland County.
People who receive public mental health services through OCHN's provider network include those who have an intellectual or developmental disability, mental health challenge, or substance use disorder. The majority of these individuals have Medicaid insurance coverage. OCHN's goal is to ensure these individuals are aware of and have access to services and supports that will improve their health and quality of life, as well as ensure their engagement in full community participation.
On My Own of Michigan
On My Own of Michigan is a nonprofit founded in 1997 by parents of young adults with developmental disabilities. These families were looking for, but could not find, independent living options for their children. After much consideration and planning, they worked together to create the option they had searched so long for: a residential college-like experience.
SMART Ride Transportation
As your everywhere connection, SMART is proud to provide Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service for people with disabilities. ADA Paratransit Service is an advanced reservation, curb-to-curb service that is provided for people who are unable to use SMART’s Fixed Route bus service because of a disability.
The ARC of Oakland County
The Arc of Oakland County advocates for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and other related developmental disabilities. They strive to improve systems of supports and services; connect families; inspire our community and influence public policy.
The Friendship Circle
Friendship Circle of Michigan is a non-profit organization affiliated with Lubavitch of Michigan. Our goal is to provide every individual with special needs the support friendship and inclusion that they deserve. Friendship Circle provides assistance and support to 3,000 individuals with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational and vocational programming. In addition to helping those in need, the Friendship Circle enriches its vast network of volunteers by enabling them to reap the rewards of selfless giving. Friendship Circle also provides support to individuals and families struggling with isolation, addiction and other family-related crises.
MORC
MORC uses a person-centered planning process to determine the wants and needs of each individual with a disability and then creates a customized plan of services to help them reach their life goals, have a high quality of life and live in the community setting of their choice.
