Troy Center is a post-secondary life skills program serving 18 to 26 year old Troy residents with a developmental disability or cognitive impairment. With a focus on preparing for a productive and fulfilling adult life. Our program helps students develop important job, social and independent living skills as well as an awareness of community resources.
The goal of OneTroy is cultivate an environment of inclusion in our classrooms and schools, ensuring students feel needed and valued, seen and heard, accepted and embraced, while keeping high expectations for all.
The Troy School District is grateful to our community for their support and passage of the 2022 Bond representing a $555 million dollar investment in our school district over the next ten years. Series 1 of the Bond including approximately $140 million dollars’ worth of work is underway.
The Portrait of a Learner design process engaged our educational system and the broader community - educators, students, elected officials, community members, families - to help build a unifying, collective vision for our students. The 6 C's that make up the TSD Portrait of a Learner seek to tie together the mission, vision, and core values of the district.
The Troy School District proudly partners with local businesses across Troy in the development of programs to stimulate student career interest and success in adulthood. These strategic partnerships were developed to provide an introduction to careers through quality work-based learning experiences, such as internships.
